Welcome to the Hedone community. These Guidelines and our Terms of Use are designed to ensure every user has a safe and enjoyable experience on Hedone. Our goal is to allow users to express themselves freely as long as it doesn’t offend others. Any violation of these guidelines may result in a permanent account ban from our platform.

Respect each other
Hedone encourages our members to embrace complete freedom of expression, regardless of who you are or why you're dating. This means you should respect other people while expressing yourself at the same time. We take a strong stance against discrimination, rude or abusive behavior, and hate speech based on appearance, sexuality, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, or anything else. We are all different. Let's celebrate our diversity!

Be yourself
Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. Be your true self instead. Any attempt to impersonate others is strictly prohibited. Fake accounts will be permantly blocked by our moderation system. If you notice anything suspicious, send a report on that account and we'll take a look.

Spam
Spam, bot activity, and deceptive practices are not allowed on Hedone. Please report when you find anything suspicious. All accounts found violating this guideline will be terminated.

No nudity content
We follow Apple, Google, and Huawei guidelines — will remove any intimate images in the Feed. You can help us with this too — if you see something like this, report it to us.

No violence and physical harm
We do not tolerate violent, graphic, or gory content on Hedone, or any actions or content that advocate for or threaten violence of any sort, including threatening or promoting terrorism. Physical assault, coercion, and any acts of violence are strictly prohibited. Content that advocates for or glorifies suicide or self-harm are also not allowed.

Adult users only
Hedone is for 18+ years only. If you see a post that includes an unaccompanied minor, encourages harm to a minor, or depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive way, please report it immediately.

Don’t share your or anyone else’s private information
This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information, or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, and home/work addresses. To protect each of our member’s privacy and safety, please don’t try to take screenshots of a chat — your chat partner will be notified right away if you did that.

No soliciting
Hedone isn’t for selling things. If you try to use it as a marketplace, you’ll be banned.

Prostitution and Trafficking
Promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking, or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited and will result in your account being banned from Hedone.

No scamming
Hedone has a zero-tolerance policy on predatory behavior of any kind. Anyone attempting to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may be banned. Any user caught sharing their own financial account information (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) for the purpose of receiving money from other users may also be banned from Hedone.

Copyright and Trademark Infringement
If it’s not yours, don’t post it. If your post on Hedone includes any work that is copyrighted or trademarked by others, don’t display it, unless you are allowed to do so.

Don’t do anything illegal on our platform
User safety is our top priority. Illegal activity will not be tolerated on Hedone. Please do not ever engage in activity or post content of any of the following: threats, drugs, weapons, violence, minors, sexual services, hate speech, discrimination, impersonation, selling or promoting illegal services.

One Person, One Account
Hedone accounts cannot have multiple owners, so don’t create an account with your friend or significant other. Additionally, please don’t maintain multiple Hedone accounts.

Hedone Photo Guidelines:
We want Hedone to be a positive place where everyone has fun and feels respected. And to help keep Hedone a place where our users feel secure and comfortable when using our app, we’ve laid out some ground rules on what you shouldn’t post:

• Don’t use fake photos or impersonate other people, including celebrities.
• No nudity or pornography.
• No Irrelevant or meaningless content.
• No ads or soliciting.
• Don’t include any private information and your third-party social accounts.
• No illegal activities, such as images that promote any drugs or drug usage.
• No abusive and obscene behavior.
• No violence such as violent acts, guns, knives, or any weapons.
• No gory and graphic hunting photos.

To make Hedone a safer place, we need your support. If you encounter a user who is breaking our Community Guidelines, please let us know. Together, with you, we can create a healthy online community.

You can report or block any account that distributes or promotes inappropriate content, abuse, spam, or anything else that does not follow our Community Guidelines directly from their post. Don’t worry. All reports are secure and your information is never shared with the person you reported.

We would again like to reiterate how important it is for users to report any accounts that violate any of the above guidelines. Your reports are super effective in filtering out any and all content that doesn’t belong on Hedone.
